CMRC is developing a new partnership with Metro Assist to deliver programs and services through Westmead Connectivity Centre.
The Westmead Connectivity Centre is an initiative of Multiplex, an international construction contractor which is currently responsible for the hospital redevelopment project in Westmead.
The Westmead Connectivity Centre acts as a hub for a number of agencies providing employment and training services. Metro Assist is a partner in this collaboration and has invited CMRC to work together to develop and deliver programs to support employment outcomes for Western Sydney Community. Together they are organising an open day on 6 August 2018 at the Centre. Please see attached flyer and promote to clients and your networks.
There will be opportunities to interact with representatives from Multiplex on the day and they are encouraging people with a background from engineering and those interested in construction to come on the day and take the opportunity build connection with Multiplex. The centre is already offering a lot of training opportunities and it has been suggested that there will be a lot of job opportunities (1,500 per year) generated by the redevelopment in the area.
